Farmer School (KISAAN BIDHYALAYA)

Farmer school is an institutional body/facility, founded/launched by the Green Center and hosted by the local government (DILASHAINI Rural Municipality), born out of the need for a one-stop center to enable, empower and provide additional support to rural farming communities for increased productivity, production, resilience, income, profit, as well as food and nutritional security.

Farmer school acts as:

• A center of excellence in the areas of sustainable agriculture & food systems transformation
• A center for education, hands-on training, research, policy & extension services
• A center for promoting and harnessing modern technologies, and AI
• A center of innovation, startup-business incubator & investment promotion
• A center for promoting entrepreneurship, marketing & business/trade/investment
• A center for solving farmers’ problems and serving them for enhanced productivity & prosperity
