Fruits Kingdom-0.1M Fruits Trees (Fruits Kingdom, in short), is a program launched by the Green Center to develop a rural municipality (DILASHAINI) as Nepal’s first fruits kingdom.

Goal of the program:

To plant, grow and sustain at least 0.1 million fruit tree seedling.

Objectives

To increase productivity and production of fruits
To improve food and nutritional security
To enhance income of farmers through fruits and nuts farming
To promote fruits-tourism and local economic growth
To promote environment conservation

Targets

To involve and support more than 10,000 people/farmers
To plant, grow and sustain at least 0.1 million fruit tree seedlings
Establishment of fruit and nut orchards in every village
Nursery development in every village
